Tattenhoe Park, Milton Keynes

Overview
Phase 6 of the Tattenhoe Park residential development in Milton Keynes forms part of a wider scheme delivering more than 1,200 new homes, schools, community facilities, and green spaces. Supported by Homes England and delivered by Bellway Homes and Countryside (Vistry Group), the development required a robust surface water management solution to reduce flood risk and ensure compliance with planning and drainage requirements.
What We Did
SDS designed, supplied, and installed a 495m³ GEOlight® attenuation tank for RM Contractors Ltd., working on behalf of Bellway Homes. The modular, lightweight design of GEOlight® enabled installation within a constrained and active construction environment, integrating smoothly with existing drainage and utility networks. SDS worked closely with site teams to coordinate deliveries, maintain programme efficiency, and ensure long-term system performance.

Results
The GEOlight® system now delivers effective attenuation for Phase 6, safeguarding the development against flood risk and ensuring policy-compliant water management. Its proven reliability supports climate-resilient infrastructure and contributes to the creation of sustainable, future-ready neighbourhoods. As the wider Tattenhoe Park development progresses, the system continues to provide long-term value for the growing Milton Keynes community.
