A rising population and an increasingly unpredictable climate, in which rainfall events are becoming more intense and dry periods are longer and hotter, are placing growing pressure on our water management infrastructure.
Whether this manifests itself in water shortages, flooding or pollution, the impact on both humanity and our natural environment has never been greater. Total water security, and everything that this entails, must no longer be considered a nice-to-have, but a prerequisite for survival.
